Rice Tables and other ways to make a mess
Ha ha! Well, we gave it a go, and despite the title, it was a hit and not even too bad to clean up! Rory was in his glory, “scooping” and “dumping”, and Breanna loved pretending to eat. Our little wildcracker Stevie loved to run her fingers through the rice, sending it flying out each end as she moved, so she didn’t last too long
. Here’s a few pics
Rory’s first haircut
Stevie has been really sick the last 48 hours or so, but is just starting to keep her food down again. And all three kids have bad colds too! So, with the cold weather and body fluids flying all over the place, we’ve been stuck inside the last couple days (skipped church, skipped music lessons), so my big treat was to get outside and shovel today…yes, more snow. I’m definitely starting to feel a bit trapped, as I’m sure the kids are too! Don’t you wish you were nearby to babysit???
Hope you all have a great week!
P.S. I know Karen hasn’t posted for a while (she’s currently in Hawaii with her boyfriend’s family…hmm….I’m just a little jealous), so I’m hoping she won’t read this too soon, but it’s her birthday on Saturday so if you can, send her a birthday wish!

Is that Ian cutting Rory’s hair? That’s great that you have a live-in barber. I love the pictures!

Great pics, Helena! It looks like your kiddies were having lots of fun.
Hope they’re getting over their colds! Annika has a cold too. Do your kids like getting their noses wiped as much as Annika? She makes is very challenging for me!!

Great Pictures Helena! They are so cute! I would love to babysit one day. I’m glad you are getting the snow although we are getting a lot of rain lately and that is not so nice either. I am looking forward to seeing your little guys and cuddling with them sometime. Hopefully it will be before the next family reunion!

Love hearing about your adventures and seeing the pics. Going to be fun getting to know all these wonderful additions to our family. You know, me and Aunt Gail would babysit if we were closer, well I’d be there as the moral support. Snow, don’t want it, but I guess it will come anyway. Have a great time and take care, Uncle Ype
